How to Assess
& Improve Your Test Activities with TMMi?

Summary

In today’s fast-paced software development landscape, ensuring the efficiency and maturity of testing activities is crucial for delivering high-quality products. The TMMi (Test Maturity Model Integration) framework offers a structured approach to evaluating and improving test processes, whether in traditional or agile environments. This hands-on workshop, led by Eric Riou du Cosquer, an international TMMi Lead Assessor, will guide participants through the fundamentals of TMMi, the assessment and certification process, and practical ways to apply the model within their organizations.

Through interactive exercises, real-world examples, and discussions tailored to participants’ testing contexts, attendees will gain valuable insights to optimize their testing efficiency

Learning Objectives

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

    • Understand the TMMi framework and its key principles;
    • Assess the maturity of their current testing processes;
    • Apply TMMi in both traditional and agile environments;
    • Gain hands-on experience with the TMMi assessment and certification process;
    • Identify actionable steps to improve test efficiency in their organization.

Who Should Attend

This workshop is designed for QA Managers and Test Team Leads seeking to enhance their testing processes, Software Testers and QA Engineers interested in test maturity frameworks, and Agile Coaches and Scrum Masters looking to integrate structured testing practices into agile environments. It is also ideal for IT and Development Managers focused on optimizing software quality and process improvement.

Summary

Today, many projects we work with use a term they call “risk-based testing”. This usually happens when the project begins to run late, and it’s decided we will use the mystical risk-based testing. We then decide which tests we won’t run! This is so wrong…

This full-day workshop session looks at the real way to effectively use risk-based testing to achieve measurable coverage and more effectively test the systems we work with today.

Who Should Attend

This workshop session is aimed at people interested in Risk and how it associates with negative testing and will be run at a basic level.
