Testing Requirements

In software development requirements serve as a reference point for quality estimation so it’s important for everyone in the team to know how to work with them. As a QA with solid experience, I will talk about: a) How to analyze and clarify requirements in a way that will make the subsequent job of QA or Dev easier; b). How to organize the process of review to decrease the chaos of feature management.

As a result the audience will be familiar with two approaches of analyzing requirements, using domain-specific experience and without it. I see the resulting benefits of listening to the presentation as such:

1. Decreased number of found defects in dynamic testing;
2. Better test coverage and better questions to requirements;
3. Organized review with transparent process control.
