CALENDAR
Keynote
27 October
The Journey of QA
This presentation, will take you on a journey through the last few decades, from the beginnings of industrial computing to the present day and beyond, revisiting the great standards of software quality with a touch of humor.
We look at the most innovative and interesting aspects, but also at the inevitable, counterproductive shortcomings when quality gets tangled up in the project or product carpet. It's an accessible, no-holds-barred review of the societal and technological developments that have gradually brought us to where we are today.
The role of the tester, whether in isolation or as part of a whole team, will be extensively discussed, in the broader context of software quality.
Finally, we'll look at the challenges facing us today and in the not-too-distant future, based on the major trends of the moment (AI, inclusivity and accessibility, Green IT), ending with a return to basics and inviting participants to debate and reflect.
Workshop Sessions
Half-Day
25 Outubro
This half-day workshop explores how artificial intelligence can revolutionize digital accessibility testing. Participants will learn how AI-driven tools and intelligent automation can enhance the detection, reporting, and prioritization of accessibility issues across digital products.
The session bridges the gap between human empathy and machine precision — illustrating how technology can make inclusion measurable, scalable, and impactful. Through real-world examples, attendees will see how accessibility and AI intersect to create truly human-centered digital experiences.
